Had a thunderstorm with above-average light show and below-average rain
roll through this evening. Saw a coupla strikes just as impressive as this one, but
outside the camera's view angle or while the shutter was closed -- including one
while setting up that left an orange glow for several seconds from whatever it hit.
By the time of this shot, the window pane had accumulated a bunch of rain drops,
and it looks to me like the faint tracery towards the left of the image is caused by
reflections inside the glass (if you look carefully, you see that it has the same shape
as the big bolt).
