Still Life

This was a very un-still life ara until about 2 years ago ,when a local company decided to stop mining stone from this pit. All the equipment was removed and pumps are out,and is left to becmome a pond.

Interesting interpretation of the challenge. Can become a great place.

Good idea. Nature will reclaim it fairly quickly.

I agree with Lynn. Hope the pond becomes someplace nice again!

As kids, we swam in a pit just like this. Hopefully the area around it will grow up and get green again.

Great still life shot. What a loud comment, however, on corporate stewardship...

So perhaps life will get out of its lethargic state
eventually
all by itself... ?

Yes, so true, they should restore it! Well captured Marlin.

Corporate greed, restore it? No! It costs the stockholders too much!
