If im correct, they head to wilmington on train CSXT Q478 and come back on CSXT Q477.

Those chip cars, if memory serves, are loaded out to a major paper mill just west of greater Wilmington NC. They go south to Hamlet, where they are added to the Wilmington-area bound manifest freight. Empties come back on the reverse routing. That's one customer who didn't have to worry they would loose service when the portion of the S-Line north of Norlina was removed in the late 1980s. Thankfully.
