Excellent shot looking due east from downtown Norlina. The sidewalk curving away toward the left is the former S-Line north to Richmond, and that is the portion of the line that is to be rebuilt for the "Southeast High Speed Rail Corridor." It is hoped that this portion of the railroad will be returned to active service between 2010 and 2013.
