This was the Virginian Railway's station at Jarratt. It was built on the site of the previous station which burned down in 1954. Just behind where I'm standing is the North End Subdivision mainline where the ACL and Virginian crossed at grade. Note the old Virginian code line pole to the right of the building still sporting three cross arms.
