Desert Trip with new Sportsmobile - March '06

In March 2006, we took our two-week-old Sportsmobile van on a road trip to the Southern California desert region. We started by making a beeline for Sou Cal, for me to attend Winterail and for Kelly to attend a work-related course. After that, we headed for the peace and quiet of the desert. We camped at Anza-Borrego State Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Mojave National Preserve and at a BLM campground at Afton Canyon.
