The first time I saw Mr Koizumi was at the race these photos are of. The next time I saw him I gave him prints of the photos and from then we became friends. Not only is he a dedicated racer with 20 years of tuning this SWB R75/5, which he calls the 'TT', but he is also a very nice bloke. He has invited me to use his well equipped garage should I ever need to do work on my bikes and invited me out for rides, dinners and visits to his house on the Izu Peninsula to stay. I've also had the priviledge of being asked to assist him at last year's Japanese B.O.T.T. and shall be assisting him at this year's event, too. As you can tell, I'm a great fan of the racer and the man. When I asked him why he has 5 whippets he replied that he guess he just likes things that go fast.
