This bike has quite a history. It was used by BMW Canada as the media test bike when they announced the R80ST in Canada. Rumour has it they rushed to get the bike ready for the launch and hence it has a couple of GS pieces on it, painted crash bars, and metal spark plug leads rather than rubber. It's all original, the small fairing and short handle bars were put on by BMW Canada when then owned it. It has been in my family since it was purchased directly from BMW Canada in 1984 and only has 18,600 km on the speedo.
