Variations on the flower theme. It is the undeniable truth is that flowers are simply one of the most enticing subjects for photographing. One of my fondest childhood memories is spring time in the large untamed backyard of the house next door. It was covered in wild violets, shading from deep purple to white, and I would go and get down, nose to nose, with these little creature-faces. I would pick a chubby handful to take home where my mother let me float them in her pretty teacups - some of those which also had violets on them. It was blissful and no one ever noticed any violets missing from the field!
