All photos (except the flight shots) were taken through a 20x Kowa telescope, which tended to darken the darks and lighten the whites.
The gull I label as "Thiceland" is a putative juvenile Iceland (Kumlien's subspecies) but its tertials appear too dark in these photos. May be better to leave this one unidentified, or identified as "Thayer's/Iceland". I have copied these photos to my Mystery Gulls gallery.
