Wonderful article in the NY Times about you and what you do. You seem to be the perfect kind of person for that job. I'm from the Northwest and have hiked to several lookouts and my parents spent their honeymoon in a lookout on Grass Mountain in Oregon in the summer of 1939. Thanks for your part in preserving a way of life.

Good morning! I read the NY times article. Sounds like a good job you have. That's a beautiful part of the world you're in. I've spent alot of time at Lake Tahoe.

Beautiful photos-should have your Mom come look at them. We just had a long chat on the phone, she's worn out from mowing the lawn. Just as she finished, it rained. Good timing. Keep up the fine work on photos!! Loretta

Nice pfhotos. Saw you today at the the top. I was the one with the white toyota. Saw about a hundred salmon spawning today in the Yuba river. Beautiful day.
