Don't think I've put this one up before.....taken in October of '88 at Duncan Peak fire lookout on the Tahoe National Forest.
On the slide I wrote: 3 hour exposure at f2.8 and the number of manual flashes w colored gels. Never noticed the meteor near the North Star before, and appears to be a second one along one the jet trails.
This was a Kodachrome slide, likely K64.
Seems I moved the tripod slightly near the beginning of the exposure which resulted in a slight mistrack of the star trails. Was probably adjusting the focus/aperture after messing with the flashes.
Note that I'm wearing the very hip Panasonic twin antenna FM Stereo Headset from around 1971.
I still have these, but sadly, they're in bad shape.
