great shots of a spectacular area. in 1996 we drove two land cruisers from islambad all the way to khunjerab pass. along the way spending nights over at skardu, gilgit, hunza etc. the only way to describe this area is breathtaking. a word of advice to matt here, eventhough the topography resembles that of nepal and north india, i must say that pakistan northern areas are still largely unspoiled from the burgeoning tourism industry which makes the experience more fullfilling. thanks for showing the photos.

Awesome shots, I have always wanted to get to K2 and Pakistan, it's increbible how much Pakistan can look like Nepal and North India. Once again, great photos!
