Is it Strange that I LOVE this Image?!

Did some portraits this weekend for my wife (M-day's presents)

I was very happy with several of them, but ran into a odd situation, my favorite shot (today's post) is a utter and complete technical mess -- still for me, the "messiness" just made the photo stronger.

Am I crazy or would other folks agree?

No, I agree. I've found, interestingly enough, that sharpness is overrated in pictures. Smooth bokeh and wide apertures take the day for me. The pleasing aesthetic to this shot is the moodiness that wouldn't be there in a technically 'perfect' shot. (Although I like the other one, I prefer this one.)
