Centerville

Williamsburg, Virginia

Went out to do some photography because I couldn't stand to look at any more news about Chile and the horror of the earthquake. Just couldn't take the feeling of impotence any more and decided to go for a walk with my son and dogs.

Sort of an odd photograph to take, guess my brain was thirsting for some peaceful normalcy. Seems like we always forget to see these nice things in our lives. If you can stop to think about how fortunate you are and think of giving to those less fortunate.

Thankfully everyone in my immediate family is well. But in Chile "Families" are very extended and I don't know for sure about many individuals. For now I just have to assume that no news is good news... On the other hand the destruction in many towns closest to the epicenter is almost unimaginable and it truly breaks my heart to think about these people's suffering and loss.
