I've been scanning old family photos and have found this to be a very humbling experience. Luckyly many of the photos are in the form of film negatives. From this I've been able to get an idea of how many "keepers" they were able to get from a set of photographs. It was surprisingly high. Much higher than I seem to get now a days. Made me feel like a total digital HACK.

PS - as all of these photos were taken before I was born you can correctly assume that none of them were shot by me. Some are obviously from professional photographers while others were shot by family members (some of whom were VERY good photographers)

Me gusta mucho esta galeria, Pablo, y lo has hecho muy bien! que buena manera de preservar esas viejas fotos que de otro modo, se desintegrarian con el tiempo!

Excellent gallery...I love scanning old family images..and I find that when I do, I "look" at the photos more intently, just to try and see the cultural changes over time. Relatively speaking, I've only used digital camera for a short time compared to my 35mm experiences. Like I said in the forum and sort of will paraphrase here, just because you can take 500 photos with that memory card maybe you should treat it like a 24 exposure roll of 35mm...which forces you to be more selective.
