Ma Liyun of China won the cycling BMX wonmen's elite title at the EAG with a winning mark of 35.746 seconds. The 21-year-old became the first Chinese cyclist to compete in the Olympic Games last year thanks to a wild card, but was eliminated in the semifinal.

The silver medal was taken by Ayaka Miwa of Japan at 36.807 seconds. Jiang Nannan, newly crowned in both the National Games and Asian BMX Championships, settled with only a bronze medal due to an injury sustained during training on Friday.
