If you click on the thumbnails you'll access the high resolution files just out of my D300! Plenty of detail!
You can also compare these pictures with the ones from my Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 I just received. These are just the first tests.

At this scale you sure can't tell much difference. I use this lens a lot. It's probably on of my favorites. I've used it for everything from closeups of flowers ( http://www.pbase.com/arlon/image/95430330 ) to panoramas ( http://www.pbase.com/arlon/image/96114559 ) and everything in between. The 12-24 tokina would be one of the very last lenses I'd give up!
