first i want to say thanks for your very kind words :)
second, the canon 10d i actually use is a very fine camera. for me it is at the moment the most versatile tool since it gives you the feeling of the good old slr-days. there are also some very fine lenses available and with the additional powerpack you can take as many as 1400 pictures!!! i did also some pictures with 3200 asa and they where much better than those in the past when i used the kodak recording film.
but, and i really have to say this, the sigma sd9 will take much better pictures when shot at sunlight. the foveon chip is probably the best digital film available at the moment. even since the sd10 is on the market which should give also the possibility to make pictures with 800 asa or 1600 asa. also the sigma software "photo pro" is like a darkroom on the pc. i never saw anything like this. it is by far the best part of software available for digital pictures. i know there is capture one on the market, but forget about it! photo pro is unbelievable.
i sold my sd9 camera and also both lenses, the 70-300 makro and the 24-70mm f3.5-5.6 Aspherical HF. actually i'm using a eos 10d with:
- 16-35/2.8L
- 24-70/2.8L
- 70-200/2.8L IS
- 100-400/4.5..5.6L IS
- 180/3.5L Macro
- 85/1.2L
- Extender MK2 1.4

I forgot to ask, but what lens were you using when shooting the SD9? Also, what type of post processing did you do, if any? Thanks.

Really wonderful gallery. I posted a thread on it over at the Sigma SD9 forum at dpreview. At first I thought that all your photos were taken with the SD9, since all of the ones I clicked on turned out to be from that camera. Then I saw that you also use a Canon 10D. If you have the chance we would love to hear (along with others that are looking to buy one or the other) your views on the strengths and weaknesses of both. If you'd be able to do that please stop by and start a thread on it.
