For those of you who've known me a while, you know that this tortie (A 3 Toed Box Turtle,
actually) & I have a rather long history that ended aburptly mid summer last year when she
disappeared out of my yard. She is known for her Houdini acts, but when she never resurfaced,
I feared the worst (predator, either bird or beast) & hoped for the best (Another human who
loves rep's that didn't want to give in the my many "LOST TURTLE" signs)

Amazingly enough, in the half acre lot next door, (after all of this time) the nice old Booger
who was riding his mower remembered about the silver dots I had painted on the back of Tub's
shell for easy spotting & altho they were worn off for the most part, recognized her & called
me over. She had high-tailed it as soon as he had put her down & she was lost again, danggit!
No worries tho, as he came over this morning with Tubby in hand ~ Hooray!

She's a bit thin & very dry, but soon will be back to her normal self again! I'm so thankful &
thrilled ~ altho I seriously considered changing her name, LOL. Not really, 'cuz altho most
peeps would think I'm nuts, she knows her name ... seriously!!

HOOOOOOORRRAAAAAAYYYY!! So, for those of you who've never met her, Introducing Tubby.
