We kicked off our fall hiking with a great trip to the Neversink Valley in the Catskills. We car camped at the primitive sites in Peekamoose Valley Friday night and Saturday morning we drove to the Denning Road trailhead. We hiked in 1.5 miles to set up camp at an established sight on the Fisherman's Path along the Neversink River. We day hiked to Table and Peekamoose Mountains (around 8 miles) and returned for a night of fire, burritos, s'mores, wine, and good company at our campsite. Fantastic weekend!
