How did we get to nine months already? Hard to believe we're already closing in on a year (*sniff sniff*). Each month gets more fun as Norah continues to develop new skills and finds new ways to make us smile. After some intense concentration on fine motor skills, she decided it was time to start thinking about getting mobile. We could see the progress each day until she finally took off in a funny frog hop/crawl with a limp motion. She's loving the exploration mobility affords her, but the cats are more wary than ever!
This latest round of pictures is special for several reasons. I found out I was pregnant last April and in May my Grandma Varn unexpectedly passed away. My Aunt Sandy was taking care of Grandma's house when she found her [Sandy's] baptism dress tucked away in a hat box in a closet. Sandy assumed when Grandma heard my news she put the dress aside for her first great grandkid and sent me the dress. So these pictures are dear to me because of the dress connecting Norah with her great aunt and great grandma.
