After our nice little dayhike into Hanging Canyon the reality set in that we would be leaving this spectacular place in one more day. We heading back to the National Forest boundry for free camping, and planned a big day for our last day in the park. We would attempt a one day ascent of Buck Mountain via the Southeast Ridge (class 4). The next morning before we left for Buck Mountain I took this picture from our campsite. You can see a significant portion of the teton range in this picture. At the far left of the photo in Buck Mountain (our objective for the day), and from Left to Right is Mount Wister, Nez Perce (this is actually a cluster of 3 peaks Nez Perce, Cloudveil Dome, and South Teton, but you can't tell that from this angle), Middle Teton, Grand Teton, Mt Owen, and Teewinot.
