After exiting the wilderness at Lupine Meadows we took a ride over to Jenny Lake to grab some snacks and get our next permit. After careful consideration of several climbs we decided on an ascent of Mt. Moran via a route called the Chicago Moutaineering Club (CMC) Face.

Since we were going to climb this mountain, I said why not go to Oxbow bend and get a good look at it. So we did, and the next 6 photos were taken over the course of about one hour as an afternoon thunderstorm passed over the Teton Range.
