Looking up at Cirque Peak from the ridge. From here on out the terrain was more loose rock and some pesky snow (just enough to be slippery but not enough to kick steps in). From Helen Lake Ridge we had an extra 1700 feet elevation to climb in a short distance, most of which was from this point on.
