We stayed three nights in Flam (a short ride from Gudvangen), which is located in a beautiful setting at the head of Aurlandsfjord. Thursday was another gorgeous day and we went kayaking in Naeroyfjord with Nordic Ventures. Except for an occasional ferry and seal, we had the fjord to ourselves and had a great time paddling, learning random tidbits about Norway, and soaking in the beauty of fjord.
