We spent two nights at Bright Angel Campground to allow an extra day to hang out at the bottom of the canyon. Steve woke up early to go for a run up the North Kaibab trail (about 20-22 miles round trip). Norah and I slept in, then went to the canteen to get a drink, pick up a Junior Ranger booklet, and write post cards.
