We spent a beautiful August weekend in the Adirondacks in the Newcomb area. We hiked Mt. Adams and Vanderwhacker Mtn., both of which have lookouts/firetowers on the summits that provide fantastic views of the area (really nice views of the High Peaks). We camped at Lake Harris and enjoyed a nice, cool evening by the water as the sun set. All in all, another nice weekend in the mountains!
