Not the world's best bird photo, but proof that I saw a robin this weekend. Last week, the temperature was still in "Oh my god, it's cold" range, but now that it is a little warmer (okay, "less cold"), there is already a robin. And some trees have started to bud. So I guess there is hope that winter will be over someday. And yes, there is always hope (that's the way seasons work!) but this has been a very cold winter for us (although we did not get, at least so far, the big dumpings of snow that other places got) so it seems longer than usual.
