A fish only a mother could love. The devil scorpionfish has the dubious honour of being the weirdest thing I saw. It looks like evolution made a mistake: besides being fairly strange looking (which most scorpionfish share), it does not actually swim. It walks around on the bottom, on "legs" that look like they are just the leftover spines in what used to be fins.
