Pictures in this gallery are collected throughout 2010 while travelling in various places in Latvia.

I would like to mention pictures taken in the middle of May that is perhaps the best time in my country for making nature photos. One of these trips was to Latgale, a region in the eastern part of Latvia. Is is a very multi-ethnic and multi-religious place, so you can see all sorts of small and large wooden and stone churches in scenic sourroundings. The region is also called the land of thousand lakes.
Another trip was a boat tour down the Gauja river - the longest river within Latvia and a really beautiful place.

Also were also a few trips in the countryside in the cold and snowy winter of 2010.
