Oh my gosh, I was a little worried in the beginning, kids and beer OMG!! I love this and the concept. You inspired me to do a magazine for my niece who lives in Washington, she is almost 2. Will post when done!! Thank you so much for being an inspiration!

I just returned yesterday from a camping/hiking trip to the Allegheny National Forest in NW PA and, as I always do, I brought home a cool refreshing case of I.C. Light, which they are calling it these days. Also attended the wonderful Allegheny Mountain Bluegrass Festival near Marienville, held every Labor Day weekend. And of course I stopped to visit my country cousins. I took new pics of them and their own (non-beer-drinking) kids, and will be posting a new gallery once I get the 300+ pics all sorted and cropped etc. Looking forward to this "chore" for sure!

My apologies for assuming "facts not in evidence" I did kind of wonder about "Daddy's" hair style. So all of these cute little beer drinking kids are now "cute" beer drinking adults with cute litte ones of their own now? Wow! Other than pics of Daddy and the beer can which I figured was just a tribute to the Steelers, I would never have known those pictures were 30 years old. Excellent work.

As for the beer, the last time I was up in Western PA, lite beer was a can half full, so maybe Iron City Lite will be drinkable . We always drank Yuengling when I was up there.

Thanks all! Bob, first, I'm an Iron City Light fan if/when I drink beer...now called IC Light. I miss W PA since I can't get it here in IL. Second, that family is not mine. The pics are of my cousin's family and her kids. If you look at the date on the beer can in one of the pics, you'll see it says 1975, so these are OLD pics! I finally just did something with them.

The juxtaposition of kids and beer made it quite entertaining. I loved it and so did my wife. I do have to comment on your choice of beer. Does your husband (and Brit) really drink that stuff?? I thought you only cleaned your paintbrushes with it. :lol:

Being from Monroeville, I couldn't believe seeing what looked like an "Iron" commercial on my favorite browsing site. Back in the early 70's I used to drink enough "Iron" to rust when it rained. Thanks for bringing back so many fond memories. I've been located near Tampa FL since 87.
