In the winter of 2005 I was employed by the Wildlife Conservation Society to capture and track wolverines in southwest Montana and northeast Idaho near Yellowstone National Park. We checked live-traps in the rugged and snowy mountains on snowmobile, skis, and snowshoes every day. Once a wolverine was finally captured, we would surgically implant a radio-transmitter in order to track its movements. Most of these photos are from the winter during this position and a few others where I grew up in Raynesford. |
