In the summer of 2005, I worked as a guide for Alaska Wildland Adventures (www.alaskawildland.com) taking guests on 10 day excursions on the Kenai Penninsula and Denali National Park. After rafting into the heart of the Kenai Penninsula, we camped out on Skilak Lake with the bears, moose, and spawning salmon. We continued our trip to the Kenai Fjords National Park to watch calving tidewater glaciers, whales, and sea lions. The 10 day trip came to an end each time with two more days of camping in Denali National Park among the Dall sheep, grizzly bears, and wolves to name a few. It was a fantastic summer and I took many of my favorite photos. |
