Scarlet Leafwing

Scientific name: Siderone galanthis

Previously identified incorrectly as a Stinky Leafwing. Thanks to Stefan Mantyk,
Wildlife Gallery Supervisor of the Detroit Zoo, for the correct information.
This butterfly is also known as the Red and Black Leafwing because
these colors are prominent when the wings are open, as is
evident in the next image:
