My Wife Carol At The Berlin Wall

Although the wall fell in 1989, three parts remain standing. The wall was constructed from sections of reinforced concrete each
12 feet high.

Like the history in this shot. The wall stood for a long time, but it fell very quickly.

It's incredible to think how long that stood for and the difference between the political systems it separated. I suspect there was a sense of awe knowing the history.

I was born in Berlin. My Mom has pictures of us before passing through the gates of the wall when it was still all there. This picture speaks volumes...the history rings out! Great shot and hello to Carol as well!
