Great galleries. Clearly a huge amount of work. It is amazing that you were able to get so many people to open up to you; it would be very hard in the West. Beautiful exposures, interpretations of scenery, and captures of everyday life. A wonderful view of a part of the world so many of us have not seen. Thank you!

Its very rare that I use the slide show feature but in this case I did and it was worth the time. You have taken me back to India (and it doesn't seem to have changed for 30 years!). These are wonderful images, Michael, and should be placed somewhere important! Australian author, Richard Neville once wrote of this magic country "India bestows upon its travellers the gift of selective amnesia - you go back!".

Beautiful series of photographs, Michael. Am visiting from the S&T forum. I'd say that your
plan to 'try' portraits has resulted in quite a wonderful set. Too much to enjoy well in one visit, but I'll be back. Life in India gallery is very rich. Congratulations on your long-dreamed visit and on
