Space Shuttle Discovery Flyover of the Washington, DC Metro Area

I was located about in the middle of the Arlington Memorial Bridge, which crosses the Potomac River between Arlington, VA and Washington, DC. The shuttle flew over the area three times, giving plenty of photo opportunities. From NASA: "Discovery, the first orbiter retired from NASA’s shuttle fleet, completed 39 missions, spent 365 days in space, orbited the Earth 5,830 times, and traveled 148,221,675 miles"
