The prospect of returning to Anawangin Cove and Capones Island in Zambales after one year was enough to give me all the extra energy needed to cram 8 days worth of work into 5 days including Farm Town plotting.
The weather was already disagreeable when we left Manila Sunday night, April 19. But reports from Zambales said the weather there was fine. And it really was.
Until we set sail for Anawangin on Monday morning when we were welcomed by fierce waves. We had to change course and head instead to Capones Island.
All in all, the trip was one big challenge. It really tested my patience and endurance, and outdoor survival skills. I had to re-awaken the boy scout in me.
