19122007 crocodiles

Dad and I have been watching a nature programme on the telly this evening. It was about an animal called a crocodile.
It seems to me that crocodiles do nothing all day long except sleep in the sun and yawn a lot, and
wait for something to swim past that they can catch and eat. Doesn't sound like a bad life to me.
Here is my impression of a crocodile yawn. Do you think it's wide enough to swallow a cat?

ah Pooch, first thing you have to catch the cat then drag it underwater. think you might have problems with that. Plus think you need a crocodile hide to protect from the claws. Nice try though.

Not quite wide enough for a cat... but then, crocs don't have whiskers, either!

Chris19-Dec-2007 20:50
Be VERY careful about what you swallow Pooch!! Chris :o{

Sheswallowed the cat to catch the bird
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and tickled and tickled inside her
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly,
I don't know why she swallowed the fly etc etc etc

Yes, I think you could swallow my cat--but first you'd have to catch her and elude her claws.
