24112006 farewell to Miaow Cat!

I've been sitting in the bedroom all day, looking out of the window at the goings-on. Early this morning a big rattly lorry stopped in front of the house next door, where Miaow Cat lives. All day, people have been going to and fro with all the things that humans put in their houses. I even saw a sofa being carried out. I've been a very nosey neighbour today!
Eventually I saw Miaow Cat being carried out in a travel cage. Her Dad came round and said that I would never see her again because her family are moving away. Not sure how I feel about that. We were never friends and I didn't like her staring at me through the garden fence or from my tree. But I will keep looking about for her anyway when I am in my garden.
I wonder if the new neighbours will have a cat?

(Dad: work looks like being very busy for the next few weeks, I will post as often as I can but it may not be every day. Have a great weekend everyone!)

Poor pooch. Glad to see you have a book nearby to take your mind off things. :) Such longing in your eyes. Magnificent portrait! :)

I think you'll miss Miaow Cat even though you didn't know her...maybe the new
neighbors will have a dog! :)
BTW,I love that red/white sofa you're sitting on!

You look so alert there Pooch, the red background does suit you.
Remember, better the cat you know, than the cat you don't.

A bit of sadness in your eyes Pooch? Just think... maybe the new neighbours will have a canine friend for you to play with!

What a cute portrait of Pooch.
No worries Pooch. Maybe your next neighbour will be more friendly. Maybe it will be a doggie this time? :)

You want to hope the new neighbour is not a wildlife keeper, Pooch !! I see your a Dick Francis fan...or has Dad given up watching the Ashes Downunder & gone back to reading instead !! ( sorry Ev :>( )

And how much will Miaow Cat miss you, I wonder? Chris
PS Dick Francis - a trifle 'racy' for you, perhaps!! :)

"Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer...." We understand Pooch - love/hate relationships are many... This shot is cute and DOF great - is Pooch enjoying his novel? ;)

Pooch! You will miss Miaow for sure! Wish that your new neighbour will have a "pooch" instead of another "Miaow Cat"!

You will miss Miaow Cat, Pooch. You never know how much you like something until it isn't there anymore.
