14112006 why don't cats play?

It's a mystery to me. Why are cats so entertained by just staring at me through the fence? Why don't they come into the garden and play like a dog would? We could sniff each other, we could take it in turns to chase. We could dig a hole together. I might even let the cat play with my toys. I could teach it football. It'd be fun!
Why aren't cats interested?

(dad: I think today's staring contest means that the entente cordiale with Ginger Tom is over LOL)

Pooch is so cute.
I like how his toy is in the foreground. Nice one.

You look so fluffy and cute, I don't know why cats wouldn't want to play football with you.
