18062006 the big bang

Today has been very strange. I had a nice walky in the rain this morning with Dad and Mum. We played hide and seek in some of the farm fields and then I chased a squirrel until it ran up a tree. But on the way home in the car there were two sudden, enormous banging noises one after the other and the car was pushed forward into another car. The first thing Dad did was to make sure me and Mum were Ok and then he went to help some other humans. There seemed to be a lot of noise and confusion with some humans shouting and some in tears, and then there were a lot of very loud siren noises and some nice policemen arrived who knew just what to do. Eventually it was all sorted out and everyone was OK but for me it was all very bewildering. Dad and Mum took me straight home and I had a special meal and then settled down for a long sleep. I feel much better this evening and have even had a short football game in the garden with Dad. Soon I will forget all about the big banging noises I am sure.

(dad: a six-car accident, both the wife and I have got minor whiplash injuries and everyone else was unscathed including Pooch. a real miracle considering the state of the cars)

Sorry to hear all that :-(
I don't how I can have missed all that story (been out of Internet yesterday night)
I'm glad to learn there is nothing serious though.
Beautiful photo.

Oh no! Glad you are 'ok'. Yes, whiplash is not minor, take care of yourselves.

Glad to hear that three of you are ok! Will the insurance pay for the repair?

So THANKFUL you are all ok. Praying for your quick recovery from the whiplash. So thankful pooch was not injured. Accidents like that can be very traumatic. Please take care, poochdad and poochmum, and know you have many pbase friends who care.

What a terrible experience! You tell Dad & Mum to get to the physiotherapist soon,
those whiplash injuries can last for many many years!

What a horrible thing to happen. Take care of that whiplash though...having a neck & shoulder problem I know it can be long term.
