21042006 mysterious goings-on

A final pic from our trip to Mull. On our last day there we had an expedition to see
a stone circle that some humans put in a field a long, long time ago. It was a time-consuming
job marking all the stones I can tell you! The ground surrounding the circle was very
mysterious - it didn't behave like normal ground which stays put when you put your feet on it.
This ground sort of sunk away when I trod on it, leaving me up to my belly in mud. Dad wasn't
expecting it so he got a nasty shock when it happened and had to grab me in a hurry. He decided
to carry me all the way back to the car so I got a nice view from higher up than normal
on the way back!

(dad: our relative has taken a turn for the worse again this evening so we may not be around
for a few days if the time has come to travel down south to say goodbye)

Pooch, you are really lucky that Dad and Mum take such good care of you. Dad is always there to rescue you.

The Julie Andrews-ness. I hope things pass gently and peacefully when the time comes.
