23012006 who'll make the first move?

There's an art to a good game of "chase". Especially at the start.
You see, there has to be an opponent. And a face-off. Which means that
someone has to start the staring.
What you do is, you stare unblinkingly at your chosen opponent. If they
know the rules, they stop still and stare back. Slowly you both get ready to
run. Sometimes you each take a small step forward. Just a small one.
Then... CHASE!

(dad: this was taken on Saturday and processed today.
Has anyone else noticed how sl-ooooo-wwww pbase is being lately?
or is it just me? :-( )

Excellent, fun shot. Like a scene from an old western movie.

I know I sent you a pmail message that failed when I got that dreaded message after waiting for it to go through for five minutes...aghhhhh !!
You have too much energy for me Pooch, this weather slows us all down :>(

What a lovely BIG space to have a game of chasey!
Pbase varies for me, sometimes dead-slow, othertimes quite fast. But I'm
probably completely out of sync with the rest of you.

Don't blink :)

Who's chasing who.
Pbase, yes I think the problem is that we all want to work at the same time.

Another note about the slowness. I sometimes get an image that seems to take forever to load. However, if I stop the loading, (red X in internet explorer), and then try to load it again, most of the time it loads right away. I don't know if this is just a pbase querk or an internet querk.

Ditto SOOOOO slow, I'm sure that Dad will never catch a fleet footed dog like you Pooch! ;-)

The slowness may have something to do with the time of day you're on. It's very, very rare that I have any problems. I'm in California which is, I believe, eight hours behind you.

BTW pooch, I know you don't want to hear this but cats play this same game.

I just got connected after trying for about 15 minutes.
