20th March 2011

There has been no sign of Giant Pike for almost a year now! The last sighting of him was last Spring, when he caught and ate several coot chicks and ducklings.
Where has he been all this time, I wonder, friends? I never fail to stop and look for him when I cross this bridge.
Will he reappear this Spring?

Dad: thanks for all the cold remedies! Feeling a bit better today. :-)

UPDATE 28 March 2011: Sorry we haven't been around much lately! Very busy helping my Dad move in to his new flat and clearing the old flat out!

LOL at Ulla's comment! Hide the baby critters, the pike is on the hunt!

Stay out of the water, Pooch. Not that you look like a chick, but those giant pikes eat EVERYTHING...
Get well, Pooch Dad!
