15th November 2010

Here's another photo from yesterday's walky, friends! This was taken just after we'd been through the farmyard and I had made the
acquaintance of the chicken. You can see me looking wistfully back at Dad as though saying, "Can't we go back and see the chicken again Dad?"

Dad: a look at the map of this area reveals some wonderful names for the various geological features of Ingleborough and
the surrounding hills: Simon Fell, Humphrey Bottom, Black Shiver Ridge, Swallow Hole, and my personal favourite (and the one that
never ceases to annoy the wife whenever I mention it) Braithwaite Wife Hole. :-)

Pooch, you're looking adorable as usual! Hopefully dad will take you back again soon to find the chicken. :)

What fascinating names! I think you'll just have to be content with
dreaming about that chicken Pooch!

Were you and the chicken formally introduced?
