Thanks. I swear I didn't copy any National Geographic pic. I've never seen it but I am not ashamed of the comparison ;-) I was just at the right place at the right time (early in the morning 5 or 6 am) I agree with the poor quality of the pic. The file is in fact a bad scan received on CD together with the prints. I should scan it correctly now that I have access to a film scanner ... and maybe photoshop the sky to match the blue colour of the man.

Beautiful composition, although I swear I have seen a similar shot in national geographic. Oh well, there is a reason cliches are cliched. The only change I would make would be to reduce the grain. I am not sure if it is the film you used or the scan quality. I think this photo would benefit from a more "smooth" appearance
