Very Large Array -- July 5-7, 2013

Enticed by our buddy Chris, we set off on an adventure with emphasis on the VLA in NM. We camped with a view and the sounds of the VLBA antenna in Pie Town NM then took a grand tour of the VLA the next morning. Taking the scenic route back home, we camped near Luna NM on the very Eastern side of the Mogollon Rim with it's views of views forever. Breakfast in Alpine, AZ then a backroad to connect us up to the Salt River Canyon way home with a stop at the bridge and a bit of exploring.
