Any of you looking at this gallery may be wondering why I might post such bad photos. The reason is that this is the first time that I have seen a Prairie Falcon and to the best of my knowledge the first time one has been seen on Plum Island (taken at different parts of the south marsh on the Parker River NWR, MA at about ¼ mile away).

I have only edited the photos by cropping them to 1/10 of the original size and editing the contrast only. The contrast only being done to preserve the color tones for anyone to question whether this is a Peregrine Falcon or some other bird other than a Prairie Falcon.
